Scope of Work:
The South Powerplant's production capacity was significantly reduced due to falling of the water level in the Kura river. Falling of the water level seriously paralyzed the performance of the pumping station providing cooling water to the plant process equipment.
To solve this problem, BCC Group built a large underwater dam around 400 meters below the pumping station to raise the level of the river.
